Our practitioners are trained to guide you through a moment of relaxation and well-being. However, certain health conditions require special attention.
Absolute contraindications to massage:
• Fever, ongoing infection, flu-like symptoms.
• Contagious skin diseases or skin infections.
• Acute localized joint or muscle pain, injuries/fractures: the area will not be massaged
• Severe cardiovascular disorders (phlebitis, embolism, unstable heart failure).
• Recent surgery less than 3 months ago or open wound.
• Pregnancy of less than 4 months and at risk or obstetric complications reported by the doctor.
• Unstable cancer
• Any other serious condition requiring close medical monitoring (please ask us)
